Utkal University Faces Major Paper Leak Controversy
Utkal University, the oldest state university in Odisha, has landed in a major controversy after allegations surfaced that second-semester question papers were leaked on social media prior to the examinations. The incident has caused widespread concern among thousands of students who are appearing for the tests.
Controller of Examinations Dr Hrushikesh Nayak stated that the university has formally lodged a complaint with the cyber police station and constituted a high-level inquiry committee led by the Vice-Chancellor to investigate the security breach thoroughly.
Around 300 Colleges Affected by the Leak
Students from approximately 300 affiliated colleges are currently appearing for the Plus III second-semester examinations, which commenced on September 12. Advance copies of the question papers reportedly started circulating online a day before the scheduled tests, raising serious questions about the examination integrity.

Strict Action Promised by University Administration
The university administration has assured that if the allegations are proven true after verifying the authenticity of the leaked documents, the examinations will be reconducted.
