The film 'Hanuman Ansh' has been making headlines due to its unique spiritual narrative based on the life of saint Neem Karoli Baba. However, the youngest star of the film has also become a massive talking point across the country. Thirteen-year-old child actor Vihan Shej played the childhood role of Neem Karoli Baba, beautifully portraying the early years of his spiritual journey on the big screen.
From Marathi Cinema to the National Stage
Hailing from a small village in Maharashtra, Vihan's journey was not an easy one. Before 'Hanuman Ansh', Vihan had worked in a few Marathi shows and commercial advertisements. However, stepping into this spiritual Hindi film gave him widespread national recognition and showcased a completely different facet of his acting skills.

How He Got the Role and Vihan's Experience
In an exclusive chat with BIG FM India, Vihan revealed that he had previously worked with director Vishal Chaturvedi in an election-based commercial. The director was so impressed with his acting that he promised to cast him in his upcoming projects. Vihan shared that he is a staunch devotee of Lord Hanuman and regularly reads the Hanuman Chalisa.
Vihan added, "This felt nothing less than a miracle. Just two days before I got the role, I had started reciting the Hanuman Chalisa. During the shoot, we had to stay in the water for long hours, but due to the grace of Neem Karoli Baba and the power of the Hanuman Chalisa, I did not fall sick once." Today, his classmates call him a star, and his viral interviews continue to inspire many.
