Although the film opened with a mere Rs 10 lakh, strong word-of-mouth publicity propelled it to unimaginable heights. Weeks after its release, the film continues to dominate the box office.
According to trade reports, Hanuman Ansh earned Rs 9.75 crore on its 44th day, a Saturday. This brings its total net collection in India to an impressive Rs 258.13 crore. Globally, the film has crossed the magical milestone of Rs 329.30 crore in gross collection, proving that powerful storytelling overcomes budget limitations.
Mirzapur: The Movie Maintains Strong Grip
After dominating the OTT space, the transition of the Mirzapur franchise to the silver screen created massive excitement among fans. Released on September 4, Mirzapur: The Movie has maintained its dominance since day one. The film blends beloved legacy characters with exciting new faces, drawing massive crowds. It had opened with a phenomenal Rs 25.75 crore on its first day.
Early Saturday estimates show that on its 16th day, Mirzapur: The Movie earned approximately Rs 4.50 crore. This pushes its total net collection in India to Rs 210.70 crore, while its worldwide gross collection stands close to Rs 302.19 crore, reaffirming the massive fan following of the franchise.
Kunal Kemmu's Vibe Gains Momentum
Directed by Kunal Kemmu, the film Vibe was released on September 18. Following the success of his directorial debut Madgaon Express, expectations were high for Vibe. Starring Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Vanshika Dhir, the film clashed with Kareena Kapoor's Dayra at the box office.
