Sometimes things happen so suddenly in life that it becomes hard to call them mere coincidence. The same happened with Dhirendra Mulkalwar, the music composer of 'Hanuman Ansh'. After trying to visit Kainchi Dham for four years, he finally reached Neem Karoli Baba's ashram last April. Just a few months later, he received an offer that fulfilled his long-cherished dream.
Director Vishal Chaturvedi called him to compose music for his film 'Hanuman Ansh'. For Dhirendra, this was not just a film project, but a miracle. In media interactions, he shared how this entire journey unlocked a new chapter in his life.
A Miraculous Turn After Years of Perseverance
Dhirendra's connection with Neem Karoli Baba dates back to around 2010 when he watched a video of American spiritual teacher Ram Dass, a disciple of the Baba. His curiosity grew over the years, but visiting Kainchi Dham took four years of persistent effort. Little did he know that this pilgrimage would open the biggest doors of his career.
Roughly two months after his visit, director Vishal Chaturvedi approached him for the film. Dhirendra considers this direct chain of events to be nothing short of divine intervention.
From Jingles to Feature Films
Dhirendra's journey to becoming a prominent film composer required immense dedication. After learning audio engineering in Mumbai and working in radio, he started creating jingles for commercials, eventually working on over 500 advertisements. After contributing to notable films like 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and 'Article 15', his big break finally arrived with 'Hanuman Ansh'.
