Speaking to the media, Mohsin acknowledged that while this is a difficult time for the family, it is also a moment to celebrate his father's vibrant life. He stated, 'It is true that he is no longer with us, but his memories and his work will always remain. His work will continue to entertain you. He wasn't keeping well for the past few days, but before that, he was constantly shooting. He was very hopeful of recovering and returning soon.'
Mohsin added that although he couldn't win the battle against cancer, he fought bravely throughout his life, and the credit for his enduring legacy goes to the fans who kept him in their hearts. Mushtaq Khan was last seen in the low-budget film 'Hum Angrezon Ke Zamane Ke Jailer Hain', released in May 2026. Before his passing, he was also shooting for the debut film of Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera's son.
