Video: Jeddah Tower rises rapidly with one floor every 5 days, set to break Burj Khalifa's record

Imagine a building that adds a brand-new floor every 5 days, getting ready to snatch the title of the world's tallest building from the Burj Khalifa. The Jeddah Tower, currently under construction in Saudi Arabia, has taken social media by storm due to its jaw-dropping construction speed. A video capturing this monumental progress has gone viral online, leaving viewers amazed at how construction can advance so rapidly at such staggering heights.

How Massive Is This Mega Project?

The Jeddah Tower is planned to reach a staggering height of about 1,000 meters—roughly 1 kilometer. This means it will stand about 180 meters taller than the current tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa (828 meters). To put it into perspective, it will be nearly 13 times taller than the Qutub Minar in Delhi. The project incorporates cutting-edge engineering techniques to ensure stability and safety at unprecedented altitudes.

One Floor Every 5 Days: How Is This Speed Possible?

According to recent reports, the skyscraper has already reached the 113th floor and a height of 454 meters. The most astonishing part is that the construction crew is completing a new floor on average every 5 days—meaning an entire level is ready in less than a week. There is no magic behind this; rather, it is the result of precise planning, synchronized heavy machinery, and high-performance concrete pouring techniques. High-capacity cranes act as the backbone of this project, hauling construction materials to the sky-high levels.

Targeted Completion by 2028

At present, around 5,200 workers are laboring day and night at the construction site. Developers claim that the Jeddah Tower will be fully completed by 2028. Once finished, it will not only hold the title of the world's tallest building but will also stand as a magnificent testament to human engineering and architectural brilliance.
