Alwar Panchayat Election Schedule Announced

The political climate in rural Rajasthan has heated up significantly with the official announcement of the three-tier panchayat election schedule in Alwar district. According to the state election authorities, the voting process will be conducted in two phases across 390 gram panchayats, setting the stage for intense local political battles.

Administrative bodies have finalized all necessary arrangements to ensure smooth and peaceful voting. With boundaries and administrative jurisdictions having undergone major changes due to the creation of new districts in previous years, this election carries unique significance for local governance and leadership.

Voting Dates and Phased Polling Structure

As per the detailed timeline released by the district administration, polling for panchayat committee members and zilla parishad members will take place on October 23 and October 29 in two respective phases. Meanwhile, voting specifically for panchs and sarpanchs is scheduled for October 25 and October 31.

The counting and results for panchs and sarpanchs will be declared on the very day of voting. However, the results for panchayat committee members and zilla parishad members will be officially announced later on November 20, coinciding with Devuthani Ekadashi.

Conclusion and Leadership Elections

Following the declaration of results, key leadership positions will be filled, with the election of the Zilla Pramukh scheduled for November 25 and Pradhans on November 27. With reserved categories shifting—including the Zilla Pramukh seat now reserved for an ST woman—the political landscape of Alwar is set for a major transformation.
