Dinesh Thakkar, the founder, chairman, and managing director of leading stockbroking firm Angel One, has made waves in the Indian property market by finalizing one of the most expensive and unique residential deals in the country's history. Instead of purchasing a conventional apartment or a penthouse, Thakkar has chosen to buy an entire residential tower in Mumbai's upscale Juhu neighborhood.
According to market reports, the deal is valued at around Rs 711 crore, making it one of the largest single residential transactions ever recorded in India. This mega-purchase underscores a growing trend among India's elite entrepreneurs, who are increasingly investing massive fortunes into ultra-luxury real estate to secure unmatched privacy and exclusivity.
Details of the Embassy Terazza Project Deal
The transaction has been facilitated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Embassy Developments Limited. Under this agreement, an entire residential tower within the premium 'Embassy Terazza' project in Juhu will be handed over to Thakkar.
The acquired tower comprises a ground floor plus seven upper stories, boasting a total carpet area of approximately 63,000 square feet. This translates to an average rate of roughly Rs 1.13 lakh per square foot, setting a new benchmark for prime real estate valuations in the financial capital.

Located on the prestigious Juhu Tara Road, the Embassy Terazza project spans over two acres and is designed with an emphasis on ultra-exclusivity.
