Electric vehicle manufacturer Ather Energy has officially introduced its most affordable electric scooter, the Konarc, to the Delhi market. Initially launched late last month, the vehicle is now available for urban commuters looking for a cost-effective and eco-friendly daily ride.
Designed for the mass market, the Konarc aims to ease the transition from traditional petrol vehicles to electric mobility. Industry experts note that aggressive pricing combined with high utility features makes it a strong contender in the bustling Indian EV sector.
Impressive Range and Battery Options
The standout feature of the Konarc is its remarkable driving range. Depending on the chosen battery variant, the scooter delivers up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. Built on Ather's EL platform, the scooter comes in six variants across S and Z lineups, utilizing fifth-generation bedrock battery technology backed by a 10-year or 100,000 km warranty.
Low Maintenance and Modern Features
The scooter requires servicing only once every 10,000 kilometers or annually, providing immense convenience for everyday riders. Priced at an attractive Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), it is packed with modern tech including an advanced electronic braking system, Magic-Key, AutoPop, and AirWalk features, making it a compelling package for budget-conscious buyers.
