Major Updates Incoming for Bajaj Pulsar Series
Bajaj Auto is continuously updating its motorcycle lineup in the Indian market to meet modern consumer demands. Having refreshed most of its existing portfolio over the past few months, the two-wheeler giant is now focusing on upgrading three of its most iconic Pulsar models. Spy shots from testing indicate that significant feature additions are on the way for performance enthusiasts.
The models lined up for these major technological updates include the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, the Pulsar N250, and the flagship Pulsar NS400Z. These motorcycles have been spotted testing on public roads with several new components, suggesting that their official market launch is not too far away. This move is expected to keep Bajaj ahead in the highly competitive mid-capacity motorcycle segment.
Advanced TFT Display and Smart Connectivity
The most prominent upgrade across these three motorcycles will be the inclusion of a modern 5-inch TFT instrument console, similar to the one seen on the Pulsar N160 SS. This new digital display will replace the older cluster, offering a much cleaner and premium look to the rider's cockpit.
This new screen supports comprehensive smartphone connectivity features. Riders will benefit from turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps mirroring, music controls, third-party notifications, and document storage facilities. Furthermore, the switchgear is expected to be revised with a new four-way controller to easily navigate through these display functions.
Hardware Tweaks and Engine Specifications
Aside from the electronics, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 was spotted testing with a new front suspension setup, specifically WP upside-down (USD) front forks, which will significantly improve handling. Adjustable brake and clutch levers are also expected to be part of the package. Meanwhile, the core engines and chassis remain mechanically unchanged, retaining their robust performance.
The Pulsar NS200 is powered by a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine producing 24.5 PS and 18.74 Nm of torque with a 6-speed gearbox. The Pulsar N250 features a 249.07cc oil-cooled engine making 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm, paired with a 5-speed transmission. Finally, the heavy-hitting Pulsar NS400Z packs a 349.13cc liquid-cooled motor churning out 40.6 PS and 33.2 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission.
