During the 26th annual general meeting of Balotra Urban Cooperative Bank Limited, the board presented a comprehensive report detailing its financial achievements. Presided over by Bank Chairman Ashok Kumar Singhvi, the meeting shed light on the institution's steady progress and financial stability.

According to the presented data, the bank's share capital has increased to Rs 7.05 crore, while total deposits have reached Rs 233.27 crore. Furthermore, advances and loans extended to members stood at Rs 129.76 crore. These solid metrics culminated in a net profit of Rs 1.55 crore, reflecting a secure and profitable operational model.

Expanding Business Volume and Digital Convenience

The bank's overall business volume witnessed a significant surge, crossing the milestone of Rs 363.03 crore. Managing Director Gautam Jain read out the minutes of the previous annual meeting, which were unanimously confirmed by the attending members.

To enhance customer convenience, the bank introduced a dedicated missed-call facility for checking account balances. Account holders can now dial 8806442262 to instantly receive balance updates without needing to visit a branch, marking a major step toward digital inclusion for all customer demographics.

Infrastructure Upgrades and Future Expansion

Discussing future infrastructure plans, Chairman Singhvi announced that the construction of the new building for the Gaur Ka Chowk branch is nearing completion. The modern facility is scheduled to be inaugurated soon, promising an improved and comfortable banking environment for local patrons.
