In a recent interview, Chirag Paswan stated unequivocally that no woman or girl in Bihar currently feels safe, especially after sunset. Acknowledging his role as a key constituent of the ruling NDA, the LJP leader admitted that he cannot evade questions regarding the administration's failures. He emphasized that being part of a government that struggles to provide basic safety to its citizens brings a sense of personal shame and accountability.

Several shocking incidents have shaken the conscience of the state in recent weeks. A viral video from Jamui district, showing miscreants harassing a minor boy and girl on a public road, sparked widespread outrage and raised serious questions about police patrolling and local administration. Similar disturbing reports from Samastipur and Banka have further exposed the vulnerable security apparatus, prompting fierce criticism from opposition parties.
Chirag Paswan made it clear that such heinous acts cannot be taken lightly. He noted that these recurring incidents are tarnishing the national image of Bihar and instilling deep fear among the youth and their families. As an ally, he stressed that protecting the dignity and safety of the state's daughters is non-negotiable, and the government must act swiftly to restore public faith in the rule of law.
