Surveillance camera footage from lane number 5 in Sangam Vihar reveals the sheer brutality of the unprovoked assault. The 18-month-old boy was playing on the street near his home while a few neighbours were nearby. Suddenly, an aggressive stray dog stormed into the frame, charged straight at the infant, and knocked him flat on his back before sinking its teeth into his face.
Hearing the toddler's frantic screams, a local woman and young men armed with sticks rushed to the scene within seconds and chased the canine away, narrowly averting a fatal tragedy.
