Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn's highly anticipated suspense thriller 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion' has created a massive storm at the box office right from its very first day. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the third installment of this hit franchise was met with extraordinary excitement from audiences across the country. The film delivered a phenomenal performance upon its Friday release, shattering previous benchmarks set by several major blockbusters. According to trade analysts and box office trackers, the movie has firmly established that the narrative of Vijay Salgaonkar continues to captivate viewers.
Initial reports from industry trackers indicate that 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion' raked in a massive net collection of 66.75 करोड़ rupees across approximately 15,759 shows in domestic theaters. When factoring in the gross collections, the domestic figure soared past 80 crore rupees. Furthermore, international markets contributed significantly with around 15 crore rupees, pushing the total worldwide gross collection close to an impressive 95.10 crore rupees on day one alone.
The film surpassed the opening day records of several major Bollywood biggies, including Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' which earned 57 crore rupees and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' which stood at 63 crore rupees. It also outpaced Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar'. This remarkable feat marks the biggest opening ever for Ajay Devgn, comfortably surpassing his previous best set by 'Singham Again' which had opened at 43.50 crore rupees.
With robust advance bookings grossing nearly 60 crore rupees in the week leading up to release, the writing was already on the wall. Trade experts believe that with positive word of mouth and strong weekend trends, 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion' is poised to rewrite box office history in the coming days.
