The controversy erupted when AAP leaders arrived at the collectorate with their candidates for the mandatory document verification process. Dr. Barot detailed that when Chauhan initially submitted his nomination papers, all required documents were meticulously attached, and an official receipt was issued by the authorities. However, during the formal scrutiny, election officials claimed that the mandatory party mandate was missing at the time of submission, leading to the cancellation of the form.
