Honda Expands EV Lineup with New Family Scooter
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched its third family electric scooter, the Honda QC3, in the Indian market. Aimed at urban commuters and families, the new EV promises a blend of reliability, modern features, and cost-effective daily mobility.
Priced at Rs 1,35,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the scooter is initially being made available through selected authorized Honda Red Wing dealerships in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat, and Kollam. Bookings have officially opened today with a token amount of Rs 5,000.
Battery, Range, and Charging Performance
The Honda QC3 is powered by a 3.0 kWh battery pack. According to the company, the electric scooter delivers a certified IDC range of 145 kilometers on a single full charge. When it comes to charging, the battery can go from 0 to 80 percent in just 2 hours and 40 minutes, while a complete 100 percent charge takes approximately 4 hours.
Smart Features and Practicality
Designed as a smart family EV, the QC3 offers a generous 32-liter under-seat storage space, making it easy to store helmets, grocery bags, and daily essentials. It also features a Smart Key system for added convenience. On the technology front, it gets a 5-inch TFT display connected with Honda RoadSync, offering turn-by-turn navigation.
Available in four striking colors—Matte Fatten Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue, and Pearl Siren Blue—the Honda QC3 aims to capture a significant share of India's growing electric two-wheeler market.
