HPRCA Releases Final Results for Commerce Teachers in Himachal Pradesh
The Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPRCA) has officially released the final results for the recruitment of commerce teachers in the school education department. This announcement brings immense relief and joy to numerous aspirants who appeared for the examination and subsequent verification rounds. The recruitment process aims to fill vacancies under post code-26020 on a fixed honorarium basis, strengthening the academic framework across state schools.
According to official data provided by the commission, a total of 1,734 candidates had applied for these 156 commerce teacher positions. Out of these applicants, 1,451 candidates actively participated in the computer-based test (CBT). Following a rigorous evaluation of the exam performance, 359 candidates were shortlisted for the subsequent document verification phase to ensure complete transparency and adherence to eligibility criteria.
Document Verification and Final Selection Details
The shortlisted candidates underwent a thorough document verification process conducted on September 7 and 10. Officials scrutinized academic testimonials, category certificates, and other essential credentials. Following this rigorous scrutiny, the commission finalized the selection of 154 candidates.
However, all 156 sanctioned posts could not be filled due to a lack of eligible candidates in specific categories. Dr. Vikram Mahjan, Secretary of the HPRCA, confirmed that one post each in the OBC (Freedom Fighter Ward) and SC (Freedom Fighter Ward) categories remained vacant due to the absence of qualified applicants.
"The computer-based test for 156 commerce teacher posts was successfully conducted, and following document verification, 154 candidates have been finally selected." — Dr. Vikram Mahjan, Secretary, HPRCA
