Passing through major junctions such as Pune, Solapur, Kalaburagi, and Raichur, this route connects key industrial and cultural hubs, offering tremendous convenience to long-distance travelers.
Additionally, bi-weekly special services connecting Mumbai and Latur have been introduced to facilitate regional commuters within Maharashtra. Operating multiple trips per week, these trains are strategically scheduled with convenient departure and arrival timings, ensuring minimal disruption to passengers' daily routines. Massive Frequency Boost on Kolhapur-Kalaburagi Corridor
Recognizing the exceptionally high volume of daily travelers between Kolhapur and Kalaburagi, the railway administration has scheduled a remarkable 64 trips on this specific corridor. Operating six days a week except Fridays, these daily special trains will run through mid-November, providing robust connectivity for local communities, traders, and families. With 32 trips in each direction, passengers traveling through Miraj, Pandharpur, and Solapur will experience vastly improved transportation reliability during the festive rush.
