The highly anticipated trailer for superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming action-thriller 'Jailer 2' has officially dropped, creating immense buzz across the film industry. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and with power-packed music by Anirudh Ravichander, the sequel follows the massive global success of the 2023 blockbuster 'Jailer'. The trailer kicks off with a gripping mystery where an unknown vigilante is eliminating members of a syndication, leading to the grand cinematic re-entry of the retired jailer-turned-undercover operative, Tiger Muthuvel Pandian.
Unlike the first installment, Muthuvel पांडियन will face a formidable alliance of multiple ruthless villains this time around. The antagonist lineup features powerhouse performances from Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty, and S.J. Surya, bringing a fresh dynamic to the narrative. On the heroic front, actors like Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, along with cinematic heavyweights Mohanlal and Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, make stellar appearances. While director Nelson has kept Hrithik Roshan's specific look under wraps for theatrical viewing, the mere confirmation of his cameo has multiplied the excitement manifold among pan-Indian audiences.
International box office indicators are already flashing green, with reports confirming that 'Jailer 2' has raked in over $165,000 in advance bookings for premiere shows in the USA within just two days of ticket windows opening. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Sooraj Venjaramoodu in pivotal roles. With high-octane action sequences, signature swag, and a multi-starrer ensemble, 'Jailer 2' is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on October 15, promising another historic run at the box office.
