Two Policemen Found Dead Inside Car in J&K's Ramban
In a shocking incident reported from Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district, two police personnel were found dead inside a parked car under mysterious circumstances. The sudden demise of the cops has sent shockwaves through the local community and the police department alike. The deceased have been identified as Head Constable Farid Ahmed and Selection Grade Constable Muhammad Yaqoob, both of whom were posted at the District Police Lines in Ramban.
According to reports, the incident came to light on Tuesday late evening when locals spotted a car parked near the Ziarat Morh in the Sana area of Batote. When the vehicle remained stationary for a long time without any movement from the occupants, locals approached the vehicle and found the men unconscious inside. They immediately alerted the local police and rushed the two personnel to the district hospital.
Taken to Hospital by Locals
Eyewitnesses stated that the policemen were unresponsive and slumped in their seats. Upon reaching the District Hospital Ramban, the attending doctors examined them and declared both dead on arrival. The tragic news has plunged the families of the deceased into deep grief, while their colleagues in the police force remain in utter disbelief over the sudden tragedy.
Senior police officials rushed to the scene upon receiving the information and initiated preliminary legal and investigative procedures to understand the sequence of events leading up to the tragedy.
