Commuters have long demanded an additional late-night travel option on this busy route to avoid severe seat shortages and heavy waiting lists during peak hours.
This newly sanctioned train is expected to provide substantial relief to daily commuters, business professionals, and regular travelers alike. With another reliable option operating through the night hours, passengers will find it much easier to plan their journeys without facing last-minute ticket confirmation hassles.
Schedule And Strategic Stoppages Of The New Service
The newly approved train numbered 14153/14154 will run daily between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal. This will mark the second overnight direct connectivity from Kanpur to Anand Vihar after the popular Shram Shakti Express. According to railway officials, the train will depart from Kanpur Central at 8:40 PM and arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal by 4:50 AM the next morning. On the return journey, it will leave Anand Vihar at 11:25 PM and reach Kanpur at 7:25 AM.
Beyond major city terminals, this service is strategically designed to benefit residents of surrounding districts and towns. The official notification highlights scheduled stops at Fafund, Etawah, Firozabad, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri, and Ghaziabad, allowing passengers from these regions seamless access to the national capital.

While the exact operational commencement date will be announced following the final notification from the Railway Board, preparations are already underway to ensure smooth execution. Senior railway officials have confirmed that all technical clearances are being fast-tracked.
