Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp critique against the Samajwadi Party (SP) during an event, labeling their 'PDA' slogan as a 'Family Development Party'. CM Yogi asserted that the SP has no real connection with education or development, accusing previous administrations of plunging the state into crises regarding security, employment, and identity.
Harmony Between Heritage and Development
Highlighting the achievements of the current government, CM Yogi stated that the double-engine government has established a remarkable balance between heritage and development. Referring to the holy month of Sawan, he noted that millions of 'Kanwariyas' undertake the pilgrimage from Haridwar to various destinations like Ghaziabad without any hindrance, reflecting the vastly improved administrative and security environment in the state.
Contrasting Past Crises With Present Peace
Recalling the tenure of past governments, the Chief Minister alleged that Uttar Pradesh was earlier known for riots, curfews, extortion, and power crises. He claimed that under the current regime, cultural and religious events such as Ramlila, Durga Puja, and Kanwar Yatra proceed smoothly, whereas such peaceful celebrations were difficult to imagine during previous regimes.
