Important Update for Train Passengers
Indian Railways serves as the lifeline of the nation, transporting millions of passengers daily. Whenever there are changes in train operations, it directly impacts the daily lives and travel plans of common citizens. Significant technical and developmental work is currently underway at the Raisi railway station under the Moradabad division of Northern Railway.
Due to loop line commissioning work, the railway administration has decided to implement traffic and power blocks. Consequently, the operation of several major trains passing through this route will be affected during the last week of September, with some trains completely cancelled and others diverted.
List of Fully Cancelled Trains
According to the updated operational plan issued by the railways, certain key express trains have been fully cancelled. Passengers who have booked advance tickets for these trains will receive a full refund as per railway norms. However, sudden cancellations may require travelers to alter their schedules.
As per official information, train number 14229 running from Prayagraj Sangam to Yog Nagari Rishikesh will remain completely cancelled on September 27. Similarly, train number 14230 from Yog Nagari Rishikesh to Prayagraj Sangam will be cancelled on September 28.
Route Diversion for Pataliputra-Chandigarh Express
In addition to cancellations, the routes of specific trains have been diverted to ensure operational safety and continuity. Train number 22355 running from Pataliputra to Chandigarh on September 27 will operate via an alternative route instead of its regular path through Moradabad-Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur.
The train will now run via the Moradabad-Hapur-Meerut-Saharanpur route. Due to this diversion, the train will not have a scheduled halt at Roorkee railway station, requiring affected passengers to make alternative travel arrangements.
