Commenting on potential political alliances for upcoming electoral battles, the AIMIM chief emphasized that his party's primary goal is to prevent the BJP from returning to power in Uttar Pradesh for a third consecutive term. 'If anyone does not want the BJP to form the government, they can talk to us. We are ready to work with you to stop the BJP from coming to power. However, it is crucial to understand that you cannot defeat the BJP alone,' Owaisi stated.

Lauding Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati, Owaisi noted that she is one of those rare politicians who built a stellar career and formed a full-majority government without any family political legacy or inherited wealth. 'Becoming a Chief Minister with a clear majority is a massive achievement. Therefore, I respect her immensely. Whether it happens again or not is a different debate, but this factual reality of her political journey must be acknowledged,' he added.
