Devotees Depart From Siwan Junction for Vaishno Devi
The Siwan railway station in Bihar was filled with immense devotion and spiritual fervor on Friday as a large group of pilgrims departed for the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi under the aegis of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan Samiti. From early morning, enthusiasm among the devotees was palpable at the station premises. Joy was clearly visible on everyone's faces as they embarked on this sacred pilgrimage amidst chants of 'Jai Mata Di' and religious hymns.
The committee members and locals had been making preparations for this special journey for months. A host of local leaders, social workers, and prominent doctors gathered at the railway platform to flag off the special train and bid farewell to the travelers.
Dignitaries Flag Off the Special Train
Siwan MP Vijayalakshmi Kushwaha and local MLA Karnjeet Singh alias Vyas Singh arrived at the station to flag off the pilgrims' group. They were joined by senior journalist Deepak Pandey, Rajah Singh College Principal Dr. Ajay Kumar Pandit, Dayanand Ayurveda Medical College Principal Dr. Sudhanshu Shekhar Tripathi, Daksh Nursing College Director Dr. Jitesh Singh, Dr. Richa Singh, and Dr. Sanjay Pandey, among other dignitaries.
The leaders jointly waved green flags to signal the departure of the train while extending their best wishes for a safe and prosperous journey. Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries emphasized that such religious events strengthen social harmony and spread positive energy across the region.
Brahma Kumaris Welcome Pilgrims with Tilak
Adding a divine touch to the event, Rajyogini BK Sudha Behen, head of the Siwan branch of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, welcomed the pilgrims by applying 'tilak' on their foreheads and offering spiritual blessings.
