According to the directives, a special team will be deployed in every district of Delhi-NCR for prompt and impartial investigation of sexual assault cases, ensuring timely justice and professional handling of sensitive matters.
Security Audit from Parks to Metro
The scope of security has been expanded to the grassroots. Security audits of public parks, dark spots, bus stops, and metro stations have begun across Delhi-NCR to address infrastructural and policing gaps.
SC Ruling on Stray Dogs
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court delivered a significant ruling allowing euthanasia for 'dangerous' and rabies-infected stray dogs, a move welcomed by authorities for public safety while sparking debate among animal rights activists.
