Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a series of major initiatives aimed at empowering the youth, enhancing higher education, and boosting employment opportunities in the state. Speaking at the 'CM Youth Conclave' in Bhopal, the Chief Minister unveiled several transformative policies in education, healthcare, technology, and sports.
MPPSC Twice a Year and Free Coaching
Fulfilling aspirations of thousands of aspirants, CM Yadav announced that starting 2027, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) examinations will be conducted twice a year. Additionally, free coaching classes for competitive exams will be introduced across all government colleges in the state to assist underprivileged students.
To encourage research in higher education, the government has decided to hike the research stipend from Rs 16,000 to Rs 25,000 per month.
12 New Medical Colleges and Skill Universities
In a major push to infrastructure and healthcare, the state plans to establish 12 new medical colleges and 12 skill universities. These skill universities will offer job-oriented courses designed to make students industry-ready.
Addressing queries from students during the conclave, the CM highlighted government initiatives in agriculture value chains, food processing, AI development, and a Rs 5 lakh subsidy scheme for startups in Bhopal's upcoming AI City.
Sports as a Top Priority
Emphasizing sports development, CM Yadav stated that sports will remain a top priority in 2027. Highlighting recent achievements where athletes from the state won 5 medals at the Asian Games, he announced that stadiums will be constructed in every legislative assembly constituency across the state.
