Panic gripped Mumbai's historic Shivaji Park on Friday after a 75-year-old man suffered a fatal heart attack during a political protest. According to reports, the incident occurred during a demonstration organized by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), demanding the ouster of the Chief Election Commissioner. Amidst the gathering, the elderly man suddenly collapsed after experiencing severe cardiac arrest.
Major news agency PTI shared the video of the incident on X (formerly Twitter), which quickly went viral. The video captures the sudden commotion and urgency among the people present at the protest site.
Following the incident, he was rushed to a nearby hospital with the help of locals and organizers, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. Media outlets have confirmed that the elderly person succumbed to the heart attack during treatment, casting a pall of gloom over the area.
