Oppo has officially released the stable rollout schedule for its much-awaited ColorOS 17 user interface. Tech enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for this update as the company promises major design overhauls and modern AI features. Initially, the update will roll out for users in China starting October 8, while Indian and global users will have to wait a little longer for official deployment dates.
Interestingly, the ColorOS 17 update is not limited to Oppo devices alone; selected smartphones from OnePlus and Realme are also included in the roadmap. Industry experts believe that Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme are moving toward a unified software experience, bringing a cohesive and smooth UI across all three popular brands.
First Phase Devices and Timeline
According to the announced schedule, the ColorOS 17 rollout will happen in multiple phases. The first batch begins on October 8 in China, prioritizing flagship devices. The list includes Oppo Find N6, Find X9 Ultra, Find X9S Pro, Find X9 Pro, and Find X9. Additionally, OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15T, along with Realme GT8 Pro and its Aston Martin F1 Edition, are part of this initial rollout.
Upcoming Phases in October and Beyond
The second phase begins on October 16, covering devices like Oppo Find N5, Find X8 series, Oppo Pad 5 Pro, and Pad Mini. OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13T, and OnePlus Pad 3 Pro are also scheduled for this timeframe. Realme devices like GT7 Pro, GT7 Pro Racing Edition, GT8, and Neo8 will follow suit. November and December will bring updates to older flagship and mid-range devices.
Status for Indian Users
Oppo has not yet announced a stable rollout calendar for India. However, closed beta testing is already underway for devices like Oppo Find X9 Pro, Reno15 Pro, OnePlus 15, and Realme GT8 Pro, indicating that an official Indian launch schedule is imminent.
