A Major Employment Drive at Seer Utsav in Ghumarwin
In a significant move to empower the youth of Himachal Pradesh, a mega job fair is being organized for the very first time during the district-level Seer Utsav. Spearheaded by the efforts of Town and Country Planning, Housing, and Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, this initiative aims to connect local job seekers with prominent private sector employers.
The recruitment drive is scheduled for October 3 starting at 10:00 AM at the M-For-You Hotel premises in Ghumarwin. Administrative preparations are fully underway to ensure a seamless experience for applicants. Around 15 well-known companies from various industrial sectors will participate, offering approximately 1,500 job opportunities across multiple domains.
Top 15 Companies Participating in the Mega Recruitment Drive
The job fair features a diverse lineup of employers spanning banking, insurance, automotive, textile, hospitality, and vocational training sectors. Key participating organizations include TVS Supply Chain Solutions Nalagarh with 80 openings, SIS India Limited Hamirpur with 70 openings, and Vardhman Textiles' unit Auro Textiles offering 100 posts.
Additionally, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Private Limited is offering 400 positions, India First Life Insurance Company Limited Mumbai has 18 openings, Elena Auto Industries Mohali has 200 posts, Shriram Finance Ghumarwin has 6, and Jupiter Solution Private Limited is hiring for 145 positions. This extensive corporate participation has generated immense excitement among job seekers in the region.

Minister Rajesh Dharmani emphasized that the recruitment drive caters to a wide spectrum of educational and technical qualifications. Candidates ranging from 10th and 12th pass to ITI certificate holders, diploma holders, and university graduates can explore suitable profiles.
Furthermore, postgraduates in management, engineering graduates, and computer application degree holders will find relevant openings. Companies like Reliance Jio Infocomm, LIC of India, Luminous Power Technologies, SBI Life Insurance, and multiple vocational institutions are actively participating to recruit skilled candidates.
