Iran Ready for Condition-Based Talks with US, Warns of Severe Retaliation If Attacked

Iran has once again taken steps toward initiating dialogue to end hostilities with the United States. Tehran has conveyed the conditions under which it is willing to re-engage in talks with Washington through mediating nations. Iranian security chief Mohsen Rezaei shared these details, bringing international attention back to the negotiating table amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions.

Iran's Key Conditions and Mediator Involvement

According to Rezaei, Iran's conditions include an immediate halt to hostilities across all fronts, the release of frozen Iranian funds abroad, and the removal of the naval blockade. He noted that consultations are ongoing with mediators from Qatar and Pakistan, and Tehran is now awaiting Washington's official response to these proposals.

Military Warnings and Regional Concerns

Simultaneously, Iranian state media reported that the country's central military command has received intelligence indicating the US, backed by certain regional allies, might be preparing fresh military actions against Iran. The Iranian armed forces warned that any American aggression would be met with continuous retaliatory strikes against US military bases and interests in the region. Furthermore, Tehran stated that any regional nation supporting US military action would also be treated as a hostile party.

Stance on Regional Peace

Amidst these tensions, Rezaei also highlighted Iran's willingness to foster broader regional stability. He stated that Tehran aims to assist in ending the ongoing conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, as well as play a constructive role in resolving tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
