BJP Attacks Rahul Gandhi Over TMC Statement
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a scathing attack on senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his recent remarks regarding the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the NCP. The ruling party accused Rahul of lacking basic knowledge about political history and making statements without proper understanding.
Speaking to the media, BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi slammed Rahul Gandhi, stating that he is completely unaware of the country's political legacy as well as his own party's past. Trivedi dismissed Rahul's claim that the BJP is systematically dismantling regional parties.
Recalling the History of TMC and NCP
Trivedi pointed out that Mamata बनर्जी formed the Trinamool Congress out of frustration with the Congress party's high command. Similarly, Sharad Pawar's NCP broke away over the issue of foreign origin. He advised Rahul Gandhi to study his family's political history, recalling how Indira Gandhi voted against her own party's official candidate in the 1969 presidential elections.
The BJP leader also brought up Ashok Gehlot's previous statements regarding internal party friction, questioning how a party plagued by internal conflicts could point fingers at others.
Calling Congress 'Bhasmasur'
Trivedi went on to label the Congress party as 'Bhasmasur', alleging that it has a history of betraying its allies and bringing down governments. He cited instances involving Chaudhary Charan Singh, Chandra Shekhar, H.D. Deve Gowda, and I.K. Gujral, accusing Congress of orchestrating the downfall of their respective administrations.

He further added that during the 1980s, Congress dismissed multiple state governments arbitrarily after losing power at the centre. Leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad, Amarinder Singh, and Vijay Bahuguna were sidelined by the party leadership over the years.
BJP Highlights Internal Unity
Praising his own organization, Trivedi claimed that the BJP is the only major political party that has never witnessed a major division, and leaders who left always remembered the respect they received within the party fold.
