School records, mark sheets, degrees, and various certificates are digitally saved here. The ID requires an Aadhaar card, ensuring absolute authenticity of the student's identity.

CBSE Directs Schools: How the Digital ID is Created
School administrations hold the primary responsibility for getting these IDs generated. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has instructed all affiliated schools to mandatorily create APAAR IDs for students ranging from class 1 to 11 through the UDISE+ portal.
The process is simple: students need to submit a photocopy of their Aadhaar card to the school, after which management uploads the details and generates the ID. Both parents and students can rest assured that the process maintains strict privacy standards for personal information.

Traditionally, fresh graduates faced long verification delays when applying for jobs, sometimes losing mark sheets or struggling to obtain college clearances.
