Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3 Shines at Box Office, Maintains Strong Hold After Passing Monday Test

Ajay Devgn's much-awaited suspense thriller 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion' has proven to be a massive blockbuster at the box office. As the third and final Hindi installment of the successful franchise, the film has been breaking records since its release. Backed by a phenomenal opening weekend, the movie has maintained a solid grip even on weekdays, thrilling audiences across the nation.

Strong Weekday Performance and Tuesday Numbers

The box office trajectory for 'Drishyam 3' has been overwhelmingly positive. Following a massive 62 crore opening day, it is shaping up to be one of Ajay Devgn's career-best openers. After comfortably clearing the crucial 'Monday test', expectations were exceptionally high for Tuesday, a day when theatres typically offer discounted ticket pricing to attract larger crowds.

According to reports from Sacnilk, 'Drishyam 3' managed to rake in a net collection of approximately 19 crores on its fifth day. This brings its total domestic net collection to an impressive 216.50 crores within just five days. With around 16,000 shows running on Tuesday, the film recorded a healthy overall occupancy of roughly 23%, which is commendable for a regular weekday.

Can Drishyam 3 Cross the 500-Crore Milestone?

On the global front, 'Drishyam 3' has accumulated a worldwide collection of 341.30 crores so far. Notably, it is on the verge of surpassing the lifetime collection of its predecessor, 'Drishyam 2', which stood around 342-345 crores. Trade experts are now speculating whether the thriller has enough steam to enter the coveted 500-crore club.

The path ahead looks relatively clear for 'Drishyam 3' as there are no major theatrical releases scheduled for the coming week. The next big wave of releases will only hit theatres mid-October, leaving a wide open window for Ajay Devgn's starrer to dominate the box office.
