Popular YouTuber Sourav Joshi has landed in a major controversy after a video from his latest vlog went viral on social media. During a 'Truth or Dare' game, Joshi challenged his wife, Avantika Bhatt, to drink water from their pet dog Oreo's bowl. The clip drew widespread criticism from viewers who called the act disrespectful and unhygienic, prompting the content creator to issue a public clarification.

The Controversy: The Viral 'Truth or Dare' Challenge

The incident began when Sourav posted a vlog titled 'Truth and Dare Part 2', where he asked Avantika to take a sip of water from the dog's bowl. Initially shocked and visibly uncomfortable, Avantika hesitated before eventually giving in. As the clip circulated across internet platforms, netizens slammed the YouTuber, expressing shock and raising serious concerns about mutual respect and basic hygiene standards in viral content.

Sourav Joshi Defends His Actions

Responding to the severe backlash in his subsequent vlog, Sourav defended his decision, assuring viewers that both the bowl and the water were impeccably clean. He explained that they use 'alkaline' water for everyone, including their pet dog. "People who have dogs know they become a part of the family. We often share food from our plates. There is no big deal in it," he said, adding that he plans to give her even tougher dares in future videos.

Netizens Express Outrage

Despite his clarification, social media users remained unimpressed. Many criticized him for humiliating his wife for content and warned about health hazards associated with using pet utensils. With over 42 million subscribers, Sourav Joshi remains one of India's most-watched digital creators, but this incident has triggered an intense debate on digital ethics and content boundaries.
