The protagonist of this inspiring saga is a resident of Baghpat district who first envisioned becoming a government educator back in 1999. What followed was an arduous trial of patience, resilience, and unyielding faith in oneself. Despite encountering continuous roadblocks, he maintained his focus and kept moving forward against all odds.
Battling Failures and Overcoming Obstacles
Securing a government teaching position is rarely an easy feat, especially in a competitive environment. For this dedicated individual, the path was filled with repeated heartbreaks. Over the course of 27 years, he successfully cleared the TGT written examination six times and the PGT exam four times. Yet, despite appearing for interviews around eight times, he repeatedly missed a spot on the final merit lists.
Such prolonged struggles would deter most individuals, prompting them to abandon their aspirations. However, this educator chose to view every rejection as a stepping stone rather than a full stop. Each time he fell short of the final selection, he returned to his books with renewed determination, refining his knowledge and sharpening his academic skills.
Balancing Private Teaching with Rigorous Preparation
To sustain his family while pursuing his dream, he spent nearly 26 years teaching as a private educator in various schools. By day, he imparted knowledge of Hindi and संस्कृत to students in institutions like Vivekananda Vidyapeeth and Doon Public School. By night, he buried himself in books to prepare for competitive state examinations.

The Turning Point and Ultimate Success
Change finally arrived when the recruitment framework omitted the interview phase, relying purely on written test scores for selection. This administrative shift eliminated the exact barrier that had hindered his success for decades.
Selected as a TGT Sanskrit teacher in a recognized secondary school in the neighboring Shamli district, his perseverance finally bore fruit. He was formally handed his appointment letter by the state leadership during an official ceremony in Lucknow, marking the glorious end to a 27-year wait.
Carrying Forward a Family Legacy
Education has always been the cornerstone of his household. His father, Laxman Singh, was also an educator who shaped the futures of countless students. Drawing inspiration from his father's values, he instilled a strong sense of purpose in his own children.
Remarkably, his two sons serve in the Uttar Pradesh Police force, while one of his daughters has also qualified for a teaching position and remains on the waiting list. The entire family celebrates this triumph of patience and hard work.
