Adi Dharam Samaj Launches Major Education Drive
A significant awareness program was recently organized under the aegis of the Valmiki-Ambedkar movement in Saharanpur by the Adi Dharam Samaj. The primary objective of this event was to encourage the younger generation to break free from generational occupational barriers and focus wholeheartedly on modern education, employment, and self-employment opportunities.
The event commenced with the lighting of lamps before portraits of Adi Creator Bhagwan Valmiki Dayavan and Constitution architect Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Speakers during the convention strongly emphasized that achieving genuine equality in society is impossible without ensuring higher education for every child.
The Crucial Message of Sacrifice for Education
National speaker of Adi Dharam Samaj, Anand Rakshas, who traveled from Ludhiana, delivered an inspiring speech urging parents to prioritize their children's schooling above all else. He stated that if financial constraints arise, parents should willingly cut down on daily essentials rather than compromising on their children's education.
He recalled Dr. Ambedkar's eternal motto—'Educate, Agitate, Organize'—and noted that the Adi Dharam Samaj has been tirelessly working in the educational sector for the past 25 years. The positive outcomes are now visible, with many youths from the community pursuing careers in engineering, medicine, law, and civil services.
Celebrating New Professional Beginnings
A major highlight of the conference was the felicitation of individuals and children who have successfully transitioned away from traditional sanitation work to establish independent businesses such as carpentry, photography, and technical trades. These individuals took a firm pledge never to return to traditional cleaning roles and vowed to provide the best possible education for their offspring.
