Akhilesh Yadav Slams BJP Over Rajya Sabha Strategy and Youth Issues in Lucknow

Akhilesh Yadav Launches Fresh Attack on BJP Government in Lucknow

The political atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh is heating up as parties gear up for upcoming legislative battles. Samajwadi Party national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav recently held a press conference at the party headquarters in Lucknow, where he launched a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

During his interaction with the media, Yadav commented on the changing political slogans and public sentiment, asserting that citizens across all sections are losing faith in the current administration. He emphasized that the youth and marginalized communities are looking for a meaningful change.

Strategy for Rajya Sabha Elections and Third Candidate

Shedding light on the party's strategy for the Rajya Sabha elections, the SP chief indicated that the party is carefully evaluating the numbers. Having already announced candidates like Ram Gopal Yadav and Dhanraj Parmar Nathwani, Yadav stated that the party will field its third candidate as soon as the exact count of supporting MLAs is finalized.

He claimed that several disgruntled legislators from the opposition camp are in touch with the party and ready to support them. These remarks have added fresh momentum to political speculations regarding potential cross-voting in the state legislature.

Addressing Youth Concerns and BJP Policies

Reacting to political initiatives aimed at the younger generation, Yadav said his party has always prioritized youth aspirations and will incorporate comprehensive employment and education agendas into its upcoming election manifesto.

He also strongly criticized Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak over his recent remarks advising youth to drive e-rickshaws instead of looking for conventional jobs. Yadav ridiculed the suggestion, stating that those responsible for governance should focus on fixing the failing healthcare and employment sectors rather than making impractical recommendations.
