Historic decision of Bombay High Court: There will be a fresh investigation
A new twist has come in the case of the suspicious death of Disha Salian, former manager of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. After the recent order and strict observations of the Bombay High Court, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a new FIR. The investigating agency will thoroughly re-examine all those aspects, evidence and call records which were ignored earlier.

Serious questions raised on old closure report of Mumbai Police
In the initial investigation of Mumbai Police, the case was declared a suicide and the file was closed. However, family members and petitioners had alleged that there were serious flaws in the CCTV footage of that night, the call detail records (CDR) of the suspects present at the party and the report related to the keys of the flat. Now CBI is going to recall all these panchnamas, forensic evidence and statements of eyewitnesses and record new statements.
What is the direct connection with Sushant Singh Rajput case?
Disha Salian died on 8 June 2020 after falling from the 14th floor of a building in Malad, Mumbai. Just 6 days later, on 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his flat in Bandra. Many close to Sushant had claimed that Sushant had become extremely restless after the news of Disha's death and he had told his friends that 'they will not leave me too'. This new step has raised hopes that by connecting the links of both the incidents, there will be milk of milk and water of water.
