Azad Samaj Party national president Chandrashekhar Azad recently addressed a massive public gathering in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, launching a direct attack on central and state governance. Braving heavy rain and adverse weather conditions, thousands of supporters gathered to listen as he raised pressing issues concerning education, employment, agriculture, and law and order.
He criticized the ruling administration for failing to deliver concrete results over the past several years. Highlighting the plight of the youth, he pointed out that recurring paper leaks in recruitment examinations have shattered the confidence of aspiring candidates. Despite securing professional degrees, young individuals are forced to migrate from western Uttar Pradesh to major metropolitan areas like Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram in search of livelihood.
Mandatory Public Infrastructure Use for Leaders
In a bold policy stance, Azad demanded that children of all politicians, ministers, and senior bureaucrats must be legally required to study in government-run schools. He further asserted that their families should rely exclusively on public healthcare facilities rather than private hospitals.

He emphasized that the widening educational gap between the rich and the poor must be bridged. Professional education such as engineering, management, and technical courses should be made accessible and affordable for economically disadvantaged families.
Focus on Farmers and Minimum Support Price
Addressing the agricultural crisis, Azad criticized the inadequacy of existing financial relief schemes like the Kisan Samman Nidhi, stating that farmers need remunerative prices for their produce rather than nominal doles. He reiterated the demand for a legal guarantee on the Minimum Support Price (MSP), urging farmers to remain united and assert their constitutional rights through democratic means.
