Chirag Paswan Slams Rahul Gandhi Over Digital Satyagraha, Says People Have Rejected Congress

Chirag Paswan Criticizes Rahul Gandhi's Digital Satyagraha Campaign

Union Minister Chirag Paswan has launched a scathing attack on Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi over his newly launched 'Digital Satyagraha' platform. Speaking during his visit to Chhattisgarh, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief remarked that while providing platforms to citizens is a welcome step, the opposition must accept the ground reality that the public has continuously rejected their narrative.

Paswan asserted that staging political campaigns will not change public sentiment. He advised the Congress leadership to engage in serious introspection rather than resorting to symbolic digital protests, emphasizing that people are well aware of the opposition's political motives.

Appreciating the Idea While Questioning the Intent

While acknowledging the theoretical positive aspect of giving youth and citizens a space to voice their concerns, the Union Minister questioned the underlying intent. He pointed out that it has become a recurring pattern for the opposition to raise various issues and abruptly abandon them when facts do not support their claims.

From electronic voting machines to electoral roll verification processes, Paswan accused opposition parties of deliberately spreading misinformation among the common masses to create unnecessary confusion and distrust in democratic institutions.

Double Standards on Electoral Processes and Results

Addressing the opposition's ongoing friction with election authorities, Paswan highlighted their double standards regarding electoral outcomes. He remarked that when opposition parties win elections, the processes are hailed as fair, but defeats are immediately blamed on administrative manipulation.

"When you win an election, the system is fine. But when our candidates win, the process becomes flawed. If the satyagraha is genuine, at least speak the truth instead of misleading citizens for political gains." — Chirag Paswan, Union Minister

Challenging Kharge Over Remarks on Electoral Legality

Reacting to senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge's remarks questioning the legality of countrywide elections, Paswan issued a direct challenge. He stated that if the opposition genuinely believes the electoral system is illegal, they should officially move to challenge and cancel it, while first taking consensus from their own MPs and chief ministers ruling various states.
