No Fear of NSA or Prison: Cockroach Janata Party Leaders Vow to Continue Protest Despite Arrest Threats

Political Tensions Rise Ahead of October 10 Protest

Political momentum is rapidly building in the national capital ahead of the scheduled demonstrations on October 10. The leadership of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which has raised a strong banner of revolt against the Chief Election Commissioner, has claimed that the administration is plotting massive arrests to silence their dissent.

CJP co-convener Saurabh Das took to social media to share urgent updates, warning that any attempt by the government to suppress the youth through authoritarian measures will fail. He emphasized that the youth of the country are now awake and will not tolerate attempts to crush their democratic rights.

Apprehensions of Strict Legal Actions Like NSA

Further escalating the matter, CJP co-convener Ashutosh Ranka stated that reliable sources have indicated they could be booked under stringent provisions such as the National Security Act (NSA) ahead of the scheduled date. However, he maintained that such threats only serve to strengthen their resolve.

Ranka launched a sharp critique of the administration, invoking Gandhian principles to argue that the government's heavy-handed approach stems from deep-seated fear of public accountability. He stated that those attempting to derail the nation's democratic fabric are the ones truly panicked by rising public consciousness.

Unfazed by Detention and Threats

The CJP leadership has made it unequivocally clear that they are mentally and physically prepared to face any adverse consequences, including long-term imprisonment or physical crackdown, in their pursuit of systemic accountability.

"You can arrest us, beat us, or even eliminate us, but you cannot stop us. Every single drop of blood will inspire a revolution for a better and more accountable India. We will continue our peaceful struggle following the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi." — Ashutosh Ranka, Co-convener, Cockroach Janata Party

Abhijit Dipke Reaffirms Commitment to Democracy

CJP convenor Abhijit Dipke echoed similar sentiments, challenging the authorities regarding the scale of anticipated detentions. He asserted that people from across the nation will participate in large numbers on October 10, making individual arrests practically ineffective in halting the broader movement.

Dipke reiterated that prison terms or draconian laws cannot deter their commitment to safeguarding Indian democracy. The party has urged citizens nationwide to extend their unwavering support to the ongoing struggle for civic rights and transparent governance.
