During his sensational knock, Virat Kohli reached another historic milestone by becoming the fastest batsman to score 15,000 runs in ODI international cricket. He surpassed legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, achieving the feat in 303 innings compared to Tendulkar's 377 innings.
This comprehensive victory gives India a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, with the second ODI scheduled to take place in Guwahati on September 30.
