New Delhi: The alleged sexual harassment and misbehavior with three female journalists covering a protest at Jantar Mantar in the national capital has sparked widespread outrage. The case has now been handed over to the Crime Branch for a thorough investigation, while political figures and journalist bodies have strongly demanded accountability from law enforcement.
In a video shared by news agency PTI on X (formerly Twitter), CJP co-convenor Saurav Das stated that the journalist community and protesters would rally in support to ensure an FIR is filed against the police officer accused of assaulting the journalist.

The incident reportedly took place during an AISA protest where female reporters alleged professional obstruction and sexual harassment by Delhi Police personnel.
