Jayram Mahato Emphasizes Education and Employment in Jharkhand
Jharkhand Democratic Revolutionary Front (JLKM) Central President and Dumri MLA Jayram Kumar Mahato recently visited the Aviram College of Education in Kudu, Lohardaga district. Accompanied by party vice-president and student leader Devendra Nath Mahato, he held an extensive discussion with the college secretary Indrajeet Kumar Bharti regarding crucial social, educational, and employment issues.
The primary focus of the meeting revolved around the persistent problem of youth migration from rural Jharkhand due to lack of local livelihood opportunities. Addressing the gathering, Jayram Mahato asserted that quality education and skill-based learning are prerequisites for empowering the younger generation and putting an end to distress migration.
Focus on Skill Development and Practical Education
College Secretary Indrajeet Kumar Bharti briefed the leaders about the academic and vocational initiatives underway at the institution. He highlighted that alongside conventional degree courses, students are being trained in fisheries, horticulture, and various vocational trades to foster self-reliance among rural youth.
Applauding these initiatives, MLA Jayram Mahato underscored that modern education must integrate practical skills with theoretical knowledge. He noted that Jharkhand's youth possess immense potential, which needs the right institutional backing and professional direction to translate into meaningful local employment.
Raising Voice for Youth and Competitive Exam Reforms
JLKM Vice-President Devendra Nath Mahato shared his perspectives on student-centric struggles, recalling the collective agitations against irregularities in competitive examinations like JPSC and JSSC-CGL. He emphasized that the energy of the youth must now be channeled constructively toward educational reforms and building sustainable career pathways at the grassroots level.
