Rupi Soren, the mother of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has passed away. She was ailing for the past few days and was on ventilator support at a private hospital in Ranchi. After battling for her life in the hospital for nearly 20 days, she breathed her last at the age of 78. Her demise has sent a wave of grief across the state.
Critical Treatment at Ranchi Hospital
Dr. Nitesh Priya, Director of Hill View Hospital and Research Center, stated that Rupi Soren passed away around 8:30 PM. She was admitted to the hospital on September 18 after experiencing severe breathing difficulties. According to doctors, her condition was extremely critical due to multiple complications, and she was put on ventilator support.

Rupi Soren was the wife of Jharkhand's former Chief Minister and veteran tribal leader 'Dishom Guru' Shibu Soren. Following news of her passing, political leaders and well-wishers expressed profound sorrow. Leaders including former Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad and Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth took to social media to offer their deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
