Political tensions have once again escalated in Jammu and Kashmir following the introduction of a fresh legislative resolution demanding the immediate restoration of statehood. Sharma argued that since these older resolutions had been summarily dismissed in the past, reviving them served no constructive purpose other than political posturing.
