Video: Row Erupts Over Bouncers in Dandia Events as Owaisi and Raja Singh Clash

With the onset of the festive season, cultural events have once again become a flashpoint for political friction in Telangana. A fresh controversy erupted following allegations that Muslim bouncers and staff are being systematically excluded from working at Dandia and Garba celebrations. This has triggered a war of words between AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP MLA Raja Singh.

Owaisi Expresses Concern, Demands Police Action

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi raised serious concerns over reports that event organizers are boycotting Muslim bouncers. Taking to social media platform X, Owaisi urged the people of Telangana to rise above religious divides and unite against what he termed as social exclusion.

He warned that if such practices go unchecked, they could harm the state's progress and harmony. Calling for police intervention, Owaisi stated that strict legal action is essential to curb communal polarization and bias during public festivities.

Raja Singh Defends Organizers' Stance

In sharp contrast, controversial BJP MLA Raja Singh hit back at Owaisi, questioning his authority to decide who should be hired for Hindu festivals. In a video statement, Singh claimed that Hindus are neither allowed entry nor given employment during major Islamic festivals.

Raja Singh praised the organizers for choosing to deploy Hindu bouncers at Dandia venues and further warned that any violation or deployment of non-Hindu bouncers would face strong opposition. The statements from both leaders have added fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding cultural events and community policing.
