Pallavi Patel Attacks Government Policies in Harraiya
In a sharp political address, Sirathu MLA and Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) leader Pallavi Patel launched a scathing critique against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party government. Speaking at a workers' convention in Harraiya, she alleged that democratic values in the country are being systematically undermined and voices raising questions against authority are being suppressed.
The event witnessed a significant gathering of party workers and locals. Patel urged party cadres to stay active and vigilant regarding public welfare issues, emphasizing that democratic rights must be fiercely protected against any attempts to weaken them.
Unemployment Crisis Post-Demonetization and Pandemic
Highlighting the severe employment crisis, Patel stated that the youth of the country are struggling to find sustainable jobs, especially in the aftermath of demonetization and the COVID-19 pandemic. She criticized the government's approach towards job creation, remarking that instead of providing proper employment opportunities, the administration offers impractical suggestions.
She stressed that educated youth deserve stable careers rather than empty promises, and warned that unchecked unemployment could lead to widespread societal unrest if immediate corrective measures are not implemented.
Concerns Over Education and Healthcare Systems
The MLA also turned her attention towards the declining standards of public education and healthcare infrastructure. She pointed out that essential facilities for the common citizen remain in a dismal state, with government schools and hospitals lacking basic resources.
According to her, the commercialization of healthcare has made treatments unaffordable for marginalized communities, while rising education costs continue to restrict academic opportunities for underprivileged students.
Economic Disparities and Agrarian Distress
Addressing economic policies, Patel alleged that while massive corporate loans are frequently waived, ordinary farmers and small borrowers face severe penalties and asset seizure when unable to repay debts. She underlined the plight of farmers who struggle with production costs and lack of adequate market support.
The convention concluded with a strong call to action for party workers to take these burning issues directly to the public and demand accountability from the administration.
