Prashant Kishor's sharp attack on BJP and Samrat Choudhary
Political tensions are high in Bihar as Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. Kishor criticized recent remarks, sarcastically noting that statements are being made as if even Lord Ram received his house due to the grace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press conference, Kishor stated that politicizing faith in this manner is unfortunate. He emphasized that such political gimmicks are deployed to distract the public from core developmental issues. His remarks have sparked a fresh debate in political circles, giving the opposition new ammunition to target the ruling dispensation.
Questioning political rhetoric and demanding real development
Kishor pointed out that leaders should focus on fundamental issues affecting citizens, such as employment, education, healthcare, and migration, rather than resorting to emotional rhetoric. He clarified that his criticism is aimed at a political culture that attempts to mislead the public rather than any individual.
He asserted that the youth of Bihar are becoming increasingly aware and will not vote merely on slogans and emotional appeals. People now want to discuss their future, jobs, and a concrete agenda for the state's development, which forms the core mission of the Jan Suraaj movement.
Views on the Supreme Court and democratic institutions
Beyond regional politics, Prashant Kishor also shared his perspective on the Supreme Court and the country's judicial system. He stated that public trust in the judiciary is the greatest strength of a democracy, and institutions must uphold fairness and justice to keep the democratic fabric strong.
"When politics runs out of genuine issues, it resorts to emotional manipulation. The public must recognize their true rights and stay vigilant against attempts to divert attention." — Prashant Kishor, Founder, Jan Suraaj
Concluding his remarks, Kishor reiterated that his campaign is not just about contesting elections, but about bringing a fundamental systemic change to Bihar. Until every child gets quality education and every youth secures local employment, this journey for transformation will continue unabated.
